Keith Markusic - Chairman & Co-Founder of Walk Right, Inc. has worn an ankle-foot orthosis for over 25 years. He says: "Every person with foot drop deserves the opportunity to wear this life changing brace." |
| Betty Leeka, Houston, TX
"You didn't exaggerate when you said your brace would change my life! It's such a relief not to walk with a hard plastic piece under my foot. I used to rush home to take off my shoe so I could be comfortable. Now it's easy for me to walk down inclines and turn corners. My balance is much better and I don’t lurch when I walk. The Easy Gait takes a lot of the 'sting' out of wearing a brace. I wish everybody knew about it! Carlos Del Rio, Chicago, IL "About 5 years ago I learned that I had Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and started to wear heavy braces with special shoes. I was forced to use a walking cane and also developed sores on both legs. The first time I tried my new Easy Gait Braces, my life changed because I could wear regular dress shoes and sneakers again. All I can say is 'Thank You' for everything." Rick Fender, Orlando, FL "I am 50 years old and have been using my Easy Gait Brace for about 6 months. It certainly beats the stiff ankle brace that I bought for over $700! I wear the Easy Gait with my tennis shoes as well as my dress shoes and have a real sense of confidence because I don't trip nearly as much. This brace is the best I have found to help with my foot drop from CMT." Gloria Scott, New Albany, MS "Two years ago when my foot drop first occurred, my physical therapist gave me a very uncomfortable plastic brace that caused calluses on the side and bottom of my foot. A different supplier made another expensive custom brace for me that hurt worse than the first one! I found Easy Gait on the Internet and have already ordered 3 braces because they are so comfortable. I walk almost normally for hours on end without any pain. The Easy Gait is terrific for anyone who needs assistance in walking!" Karin Davidson, Coto de Caza, CA "I grew up in an athletic family, but 12 years ago a back injury left me with foot drop. My health suffered, I gained weight and my activity level was dramatically reduced. Last spring I found the Easy Gait Brace on the Internet and it gave me my life back! Now, I can run, jump, sprint and even play competitive tennis again. My health has improved and I've lost the extra weight I gained without regular aerobic activity. I tell EVERYONE about the improvement Easy Gait has made in my life. I own 4 of them! Doug Gilmer, Portland, OR "I used to sell cars for a living but Charcot-Marie-Tooth forced me to get off my feet so I started driving a taxicab. To be perfectly honest, I felt that I didn't need AFO's until I attended a CMT conference and walked around for a couple of hours wearing Easy Gait Braces. They made such a difference in my balance and ability to walk that I bought three pairs for my work shoes, dress shoes and sneakers! I even volunteered to be a sales representative!" William B. Quinn, DPM, FACFAS, Stevens Point, WI "As a surgical podiatrist with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, I have worn the Easy Gait brace and recommend it to my patients who have some muscular function. There is a definite role for this device among people with early muscle paralysis caused by mild stroke, diabetes, accident or spinal injury. It is lighter and much more economical than a classic AFO costing at least $500- $700 per leg!" Mike Stein, M.S., P.T. , Oaklandon, IN "We recommend the Easy Gait brace to patients at our rehab clinics who have mild to moderate drop foot. They don't have to shove anything uncomfortable into their shoes and it doesn't cause pressure sores like other orthoses. You can't beat the reasonable cost of $395 per brace that's partially covered by Medicare either. Anyone with a neurological disorder like drop foot can order a pair for each kind of shoe they wear."
